About us

Brian & Marilyn started the business in 1978 at the Old Forge in Market House Lane, Minehead, before moving to our current workshop in Post Office Lane two years later. The workshop today is run by two of three of Brian & Marilyns sons: Paul & Malcolm.

Paul went to the Hereford College of Blacksmithing when he left school, and after that he worked for different blacksmiths which included working on some high profile commissions around the country. He also worked on the Taree Bridge in NSW Australia before joining the family business around 2001.
